Within taekkyon, all techniques involve both the legs and arms. This is even so when kicking.
When performing Taekkyon, the legs and arms are applied simultaniously to one’s opponent. And is done so in an attempt to break the opponent’s balance.
If one kicks, a hand is normally also used. And if one pushes or pulls with a hand, a leg is also normally used to trip or throw.
A Taekkyon practitioner may push and pull an opponent by the shoulders whilst simultaneously hooking or pushing the feet and legs as seen in the video above.
